NEUTRAL GATOR INITIATIVE

We are proud to introduce your Florida Gators in a new shade of green. Let us rewind to last year's rivalry game versus FSU here in the swamp. The Gators comfortably handed the Seminoles another loss while simultaneously registering the NCAA's first ever carbon neutral football game. The attention was caught nationwide, and UF became recognized as the leader in sustainable athletics. Suddenly other schools wanted to host a carbon neutral game and follow in the Gators tracks.
Since UF is the type of school known for it's leadership we had no choice but to respond with the NCAA's first ever carbon neutral season.

We love Gainesville like we do our Gators, so instead of buying cheap carbon offsets from overseas we decided to create our own right here, thus the Neutral Gator Initiative was conceived. As the new season dawns, we ask that the Gator Nation stand with us and support yet another historical first featuring our Florida Gators. We guarantee to use the Neutral Gator Initiative as a tool to reduce energy expenses and invest in a sustainable Gainesville. Join us as we unite under common colors, orange, blue, and green.
